If you'd put up the option "never", I'd consider it. In two weeks, this bet won't be on the radar anymore. Plus there will be 6 or 7 more to take its place. This one's a bit different because of the large number required and the betting on the time, but I think most people will look at the bet every other month or so and if it gets over 900, THEN consider putting their nuts in. More likely, 2012 comes around and you'll have to cancel the bet...
Can you tell I'm not a big fan of these types of bets? lol.
But heck, maybe you'll prove me wrong. Could be interesting....
